Jared Hooser is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at New Mexico State University.
He is an active member in both the Pi Tau Sigma and Golden Key International Honor Societies at NMSU.
Before coming to WHA, Jared spent two summers at the HAFB High Speed Test Track in Alamogordo,
NM working as an engineering assistant and test engineer.
With WHA, Jared provides test support for the promoted combustion, pneumatic impact, oxygen index,
mechanical impact, hydrostatic, NF3, and flow friction testing at the WHA Test Facility.
He also works on cases that require FTIR spectral analysis to identify surface residues left behind in oxygen fires.
